Description of key information

The isothermal TGA effusion method was applied for the determination of the vapour pressure of 2,2'-isopropylidenebis(p-phenyleneoxy)diethanol. The vapour pressure of the test substance at 20°C (293K) was = 3.1x10-7 Pa or =2.3x10-9 mmHg.

Estimation of the vapour pressure of the liquefied substance at 100°C (373K) was performed using the data from the isothermal thermogravimetric effusion method.
