Description of key information

Additional information

The substance is a brown organic powder at 20 °C and 1013 hPa. No more information on its physico-chemical properties are available.

However data on an analogous substance (Similar Substance 01) has been taken into account for the assessment.

The Target Substance and the Similar Substance 01 are both UVCB substances that only differ on the salification: potassium salt the Similar Substance 01 and potassium/sodium salt the Target Substance.

Particle size distribution is expected to be in the inhalable fraction but not respirable and the relative density in a range of 1 -2 at 20 °C. Considering the thermal behaviuor of the Similar Substance the Target substance is expected to decompose before melting at ca. 257 °C and to have a negligible vapour pressure.

The substance is supposed to be very soluble in water and to have a negative logPow.

The substance does not meet the criteria to be considered as autoflammable/flammable/explosive/oxidising.
