Description of key information

In chapter R.10 of the Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment (ECHA 2008, p. 42) concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), it is laid down that "the chemicals of concern with respect to secondary poisoning include lipophilic organic chemicals and some metal compounds". The substance shows a low bioaccumulative (log Pow = 1.51) potential and is considered to be readily biodegradable. Thus, a relevant and considerable exposure of birds is not expected. Therefore, and for reasons of animal welfare studies on bird toxicity are not provided.
