Reference
Endpoint:
oxidising liquids
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied

Description of key information

The test substance contains oxygen which is chemically bonded only to carbon and hydrogen. Thus it can be concluded beyond a reasonable doubt that the test substance is not an oxidizing liquid capable of causing fire or enhancing the risk of fire when in contact with combustible material.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
non oxidising

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

Test substance is not to be classified as an oxidizing liquid according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP).
