Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The validity criterion “difference between duplicate determinations” was met. The test item
Addukt TI 65 - MXDA showed a melting range, no melting point. As the test item consists
of a mixture, this is considered as normal.
Decomposition was indicated by a slight colour change of the test item to (stronger) yellow
at approx. 222 - 223 °C and melting to a red/orange liquid.
Therefore, the melting range of the test item Addukt TI 65 – MXDA should be stated as
265.5 °C – 279.5 °C (538.7 to 552.7 K) under decomposition.
No observations were made which might cause doubts on the validity of the study outcome.
Therefore, the result of the study is considered valid.
Executive summary:

The determination was performed in duplicate. In both determinations, a melting range

was detected.

The melting range was determined as

265.5 °C – 279.5 °C (538.7 to 552.7 K) under decomposition

These values are the means from two independent determinations. Decomposition was

indicated by a slight colour change of the test item to yellow at approx. 222 - 223 °C and

melting to a red/orange liquid.
