Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
Category 4 based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
LD50 was considered to be 1400 mg/kg bw, when rats was treated with 4'-Methylacetophenone (122-00-9) via oral route.
Executive summary:

In an acute oral toxicity study, rats were treated with 4'-Methylacetophenone (122-00-9) at the concentration of 1400mg/kg bworally. 50 % mortality was observed in treated rats at 1400 mg/kg bw. Therefore, LD50 was considered to be 1400 mg/kg bw whenrats was treated with 4'-Methylacetophenone via oral route.
