Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The bioconcentration factor (BCF) of neryl acetate was estimated by three QSAR models:

- BCFBAF v3.01 module of EPI suite (v4.0) - Regression-based estimate

- BCF-BAF v3.01 module of EPI suite (v4.0) (assuming no biotransformation) - Arnot-Gobas upper trophic level

- A model described in Technical Guidance Risk Assessment (European Chemicals Bureau, 2003) - Part II, Chapter 3.8, equation (74) p. 126.

Neryl acetate exhibits an estimated fish BCF of 454 L/kg (geometric mean of the three QSAR results: 196.3 L/kg, 989.2 L/kg, 481.9 L/kg).
