Remark : the assays Nos. 1, 2 and 3 were performed but the results were not satisfactory because the values didn't stabilise. The assay No. 6 was performed but it was not taken into account due to the fact that the result was too far from others.

Conclusions:
The mean surface tension of the test item diluted at 1.35 mg/L (90% of its hydrosolubility) in distilled water at 20.1°C was 56.4 mN/m.
The test item was considered as surface-active in the experimental conditions used.
Executive summary:

In compliance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 EC A.5. method (2008) and OECD Guideline No.115 (1995):

The objective of the test was to determine the surface tension of the test item at 90% of its hydrosolubility in distilled water. The surface tension is defined as the free surface enthalpy per unit of area and is expressed in mN/m.

The mean surface tension of the test item diluted at 1.35mg/L (90% of its hydrosolubility) in distilled water at 20.1°C was 56.4 mN/m.

The test item was considered as surface-active in the experimental conditions used.
