Details on results:
A saturated stock solution of the test substance in water saturated n-octanol was prepared.
To 5 ml, 10 ml and 20 ml of the stock solution 10 ml of n-octanol saturated water were added. The two-phase system was shaken vigorously at room temperature (23 °C) for one hour. Subsequently the phases were separated by centrifugation for 15 mion at 5000 rpm. The test substance concentration in each phase was determined by HPLC.
Stock solution: 1244 mg/l = 843 mg/l active substance.
