Description of key information

The test item consists of pale white to white crystals.

The test material has a melting point of 56.5°C and boiling point of 328.3°C at atmospheric pressure. The relative density of the test item is 1.165 at 20°C, relative to water at 4°C. The median particle size D50 is 107 µm. The test item was found to have a vapour pressure of 2.7 x 10-5Pa at 20°C, a water solubility of 0.523 mg/L at 20.0°C and a log Kow of 4.4 at 35°C.

The flashpoint was not assessed experimentally as this study does not need to be conducted for solids. The auto flammability was not determined as it is a solid with a melting point below 160°C. The substance was found to be not flammable.

The test substance does not contain functional groups, which are associated with explosive or oxidising properties. Moreover, based on the chemical structure surface activity is not expected.

The substance does not need to be classified for physical hazards.
