White crystalline solid that dissolved readily in water to dissociate to sodium and carbonate ions.

The substances does not melt, but will thermally degrade at high temperatures and will have no discernable vapour pressure.

The particle size suggest low inhalable fraction with < 0.5% by volume under 10 um.

There is no physical hazard relating to this substance and as an inorganic salt, it is not flammable or explosive and will not have oxidising properties stronger than barium nitrate.
