The study described in this report was conducted in a facility which operates in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice principles; however no claim of GLP compliance was intended nor is made for this study.
Type of method:
effusion method: vapour pressure balance
Specific details on test material used for the study:
Identification: C.I. Solvent Yellow 175 Solid
Appearance/Physical state: Dark red/black solid block
Batch: ZA07202016
Purity: >99%
Expiry date: 18 July 2019
Storage conditions: Room temperature in the dark
Key result
Temp.:
25 °C
Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
Remarks on result:
other: A total of 6 runs were completed for the main sequence. Equilibrium with regard to vapor pressure was assessed to have been reached over the 6 runs. Thus all 6 runs have been used to calculate the definitive vapor pressure value for the test item.

The values of vapor pressure at 25 °C extrapolated from each graph are summarized in the following table:

Discussion:

The test item did not change in appearance under the conditions used in the determination.

A total of 6 runs were completed for the main sequence. Equilibrium with regard to vapor pressure was assessed to have been reached over the 6 runs. Thus all 6 runs have been used to calculate the definitive vapor pressure value for the test item.

The results may represent rounded values obtained by calculations based on the exact raw data.

Conclusions:
The vapor pressure of the test item has been determined to be 3.4 x 10^-4 Pa at 25 ºC.
Executive summary:

The vapor pressure of C.I. Solvent Yellow 175 Solid has been determined to be 3.4 x 10-4 Pa at 25 °C, using the vapor pressure balance method, designed to be compatible with Method A.4 Vapour Pressure of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 104 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 23 March 2006.
