Conc. based on:
test mat.
Basis for effect:
nitrate formation rate
Details on results:
An increase (36%) in nitrogen transformaiton activity was observed - i.e. a positive effect compared to the controls.
Conclusions:
The effect on the nitrogen transformation activity of soil micro-organisms was investigated over a 28 day period and gave an EC50 value of greater than 1000 mg/kg and a NOEC of 1000 mg/kg.

Additional information

OECD Guideline 216 (Soil Microorganisms: Nitrogen Transformation Test):

The effect on the nitrogen transformation activity of soil micro-organisms was investigated over a 28 day period and gave an EC50 value of greater than 1000 mg/kg and a NOEC of 1000 mg/kg.

OECD Guideline 217 (Soil Microorganisms: Carbon Transformation Test):

The effect on the carbon transformation activity of soil micro-organisms was investigated over a 28 day period and gave an EC50 value of greater than 1000 mg/kg and a NOEC of 1000 mg/kg.
