Description of key information

The auto-ignition temperature of 2,2,4 (or 2,4,4)-trimethylhexane-1,6-diamine was determined according to EU test method A.15 (2008) and DIN 51794 (2003). The result was 365 °C at 1002 hPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
365 °C

Additional information

The effect of the difference in pressure (1002 vs 1013 hPa) on the result is considered to be insignificant.
