Additional information

For fish (Danio rerio) the acute toxicity of the test substance was >= 100 mg/l (96 h-LC0). The study was conducted according to Directive 92/69/EEC, C1. The result relates to nominal concentration as analytical monitoring shows stability of the test substance during the experiment (Currenta, 2008).

For Daphnia magna STRAUS an EC 50 of > 100 mg/l was obtained after 48 hours. The study was conducted according to Directive 92/69/EEC, C2. The result relates to nominal concentration as analytical monitoring shows stability of the test substance during the experiment (Currenta, 2009).

In 72h the concentration of the test substance which reduces the growth rate of Scenedesmus subspicatus CHODAT by 50 % is > 100 mg/l. The result relates to nominal concentration as analytical monitoring shows stability of the test substance during the experiment (Currenta, 2009).

Assessing the toxicity towords microorganisms, the substance showed 2.0 % respiration inhibition of activated sludge at the highest test item concentration of 1000 mg/l according to the OECD guideline 209 (Currenta, 2009). An EC10 and an EC50 of >1000 mg/l were obtained in this test.
