After evaporation or exposure to the atmospheric compartment, 2,2'-dimethyl-4,4'-methylenebis(cyclohexylamine) (DMD) will be rapidly degraded by indirect photochemical reaction with OH radicals. According to the structural properties of DMD hydrolysis is not expected to be an important fate path in the environment.
