Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The assessment on short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates relied on a weight of evidence approach, using available data on similar substances. Details on the read across approach are attached in section 13.

Studies were conducted based on DIN 38412, part 11. No details on the compositions of tested batches were available.

In the available study on similar substance 01, 20 daphnia per concentration divided in 4 replicates were exposed to test substance under static exposure conditions. Nominal tested concentrations were 0.0975, 0.195, 0.39, 0.78, 1.56, 3.12,6.24, 12.5, 25 µg/l.

Another study performed on similar substance 03 contains only few details in the report but the vailable information indicated that 2 replicates per concentration were used and nominal tested concentrations were 2, 4, 8, 10, 20, 40, 80, 100 µg/l and some effects were seen.

In both studies the effect levels, including up to 100 % immobilisation, were found to be well below 1 mg/l.
