Description of key information

A QSAR calculation of unknown model validity is available. Quantitative experimental determination of the BCF is not currently possible.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Using BCFBAF v3.00, different BCF values were predicted for the substance. A log Kow of 10.34 (i.e. > 10) suggests that the compound may not be strongly bioaccumulable and probably does not meet the B criterion. All BCF values calculated including biotransformation rates are also < 2000 L/kg. Therefore, based exclusively on QSAR predictions, we conclude that the substance does not meet the B criterion. It should be noted that the domain of application cannot be shown to be applicable to these substances.

No absolute experimental quantitative BCF can be determined using current techniques as it is not possible to measure the solubility of the substance.
