Description of key information

Long-term toxicity to fish: 45-day NOEC: =4.4 µg/L (geometric mean measured) (highest concentrations tested), for the effects of the test substance on mortality and behaviour of Lepomis macrochirus (OECD 305 - bioconcentration test)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A 45-day NOEC of =4.4 µg/l has been determined for the effects of the test substance on mortality and behaviour of Lepomis macrochirus. The results are expressed relative to mean measured concentrations of the substance. The results were obtained as part of a flow-through test that was undertaken to determine the potential for bioconcentration of the substance from water to fish. Because this is a bioconcentration factor test rather than a guideline-compliant long-term fish toxicity test, the results are used only as supporting data.
