Administrative data

oxidising solids
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied
Justification for type of information:
Structural assessment concludes no oxidising potential caused by any of the chemical groups or species present.

Typical oxidising agents include halide-oxygen groups (e.g. chlorates), nitrogen-oxygen groups (e.g. nitrates) and some metal-oxygen complexes. None of these groups are present in the substance.

It is concluded that the substance does not have a sufficient oxidising potential for classification as an oxidising agent and is not hazardous in this respect. It is considered that testing is not required
