Aquatic studies evaluating the toxicity of the substance to aquatic organisms are available for two different trophic levels. All studies were performed according to international guidelines and GLP. Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata turned out to be the most sensitive species with an ErC50 (72 h) of 22 mg/L (nominal) and an ErC10 (72 h) of 7.2 mg/L (nominal). Testing with Daphnia magna resulted in an EC50 (48 h) of 45.5 mg/L (geometric mean).
