Ingestion: Immediately rinse mouth with water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable Extinguishing Media:

Dry chemical, CO2, water spray or alcohol-resistant foam.

Unsuitable Extinguishing Media:

Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating and toxic gases and vapours Avoid dust formation Fine dust dispersed in air may ignite

Advice for firefighters:

Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit. Use personal protective equipment.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Use personal protective equipment.

Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing

Evacuate personnel to safe areas

Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak

Environmental precautions:

Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas

Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system

Prevent product from entering drains

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.

Use personal protective equipment. Pick up and transfer to properly labelled containers. Avoid dust formation. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly. After cleaning, flush away traces with water.

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling:

Obtain special instructions before use. Use personal protective equipment as required. Avoid dust formation. Avoid inhalation of dusts. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid exposure during pregnancy.

General Hygiene Considerations:

Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities

EXPOSURE CONTROLS

Engineering measures:       Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.

Personal protective equipment

Eye Protection:       Wear eye/face protection.

Hand Protection:       Wear protective gloves. Please observe the instructions regarding permeability and breakthrough time which are provided by the supplier of the gloves. Also take into consideration the specific local conditions under which the product is                     used, such as the danger of cuts, abrasion. Ensure that the breakthrough time of the glove material is not exceeded. Refer to glove supplier for information on breakthrough time for specific gloves.

Skin and body protection:       Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves.

Respiratory protection:       Ensure adequate ventilation.

General Hygiene Considerations:       When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before re-use. Regular cleaning of equipment, work area and clothing is recommended.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: No data available.

Chemical stability: Stable under normal conditions.

Explosion Data:

Sensitivity to Mechanical Impact:       none.

Sensitivity to Static Discharge:       none.

Possibility of hazardous reactions: None under normal processing.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods

Waste from residues/unused products       Do not empty into drains. Disposal should be in accordance with applicable regional, national and local laws and regulations.
