Additional information

The substance is an orange organic powder at 20 °C and 1013 hPa. No more information on its physico-chemical properties is available.

However data on an analogous substance (Similar Substance 01) has been taken into account for the assessment.

The Target Substance and the Similar Substance 01 are both UVCB substances that differ on the salification and on one of the starting material. This differences are however not expected to impact the physico-chemical properties. More details about the similarity between the two substances are reported in section 13.

Particle size distribution is expected to be in the “inhalable fraction” and the relative density in a range of 1 -2 at 20 °C. Considering the thermal behavior of the Similar Substance 01 the Target Substance is expected to decompose before melting at and to have a negligible vapor pressure.

The substance is supposed to be very soluble in water and to have a negative logPow.

The substance does not meet the criteria to be considered as autoflammable/flammable/explosive/oxidising.
