Description of key information

The bioaccumulation potential of Floralozone in fish was determined in a study according to Japanese national guidelines equivalent to OECD TG 305 and in compliance with GLP criteria. From this study a worst case BCF of <132 L/kg was determined (normalised to a lipid content of 5%). The < value is because at the start of depuration no Floralozone was present in fish up to 160 ng/g (ug/kg fish), the detection limit of Floralozone.

The BCF for terrestrial organisms (earthworm) was calculated using the QSAR of Jager (1998), which is incorporated in the EUSES model, and yielded a value of 152 L/kg ww.
