Additional information
Based on the available data in a key study from authoritative and modelling databases, the partition coefficient (log Pow) value of the substance 4 -(2 -Aminoethyl)phenol was estimated to be 0.86.
In a supportingstudy from peer reviewed journal, the partition coefficient (log Pow) value of the substance 4 -(2 -Aminoethyl)phenol was estimated to be in the range from 0.97 – 1.13, respectively.
Additional study from authoritative and modelling database indicates that the octanol waterpartition coefficient (log Pow) value of the substance 4 -(2 -Aminoethyl)phenol was estimated to be 0.72.
Another supporting study from modelling database indicates that the partition coefficient (log Pow) value of the substance 4 -(2 -aminoethyl) phenol was estimated to be 0.782 ± 0.205 at 25°C.
Thus, based on the available information, the logPow valueof the test substance 4 -(2 -Aminoethyl)phenol ranges from 0.72 to 1.13, respectively. On the basis of this estimated value, chemical 4 -(2 -Aminoethyl)phenol can be considered to be hydrophilic in nature.
