Description of key information

The structural analogue DNNSA was minimally sensitizing in a Guinea Pig test by the Buehler method. A human repeat insult patch study indicated no sensitization reactions in human subjects.
The weight of the evidence indicates that DNNSA is not sensitizing.

Justification for classification or non-classification

DNNSA was tested for skin sensitisation in a Buehler test and was found negative. Data for respiratory sensitisation are not available. Thus, DNNSA is not classified for skin or respiratory sensitisation according to CLP (Regulation EC No 1272/2008) or DSD (Directive 67/548/EEC).
