Additional information
There are no measured data for the registration substance as a whole. However, according to REACH Annex XI the short-term aquatic toxicity studies do not need to be conducted because the data requirements for these endpoints have been addressed using measured data for the constituents of the substance or for appropriate structural analogues.
All results below are given in terms of the effect concentrations of parent substance as tested. For PNEC derivation and within the individual endpoint summaries, the results have been re-calculated as the equivalent concentration of the silanol hydrolysis product, to which the test organisms were exposed (in addition to ethanol or methanol), based on relative molecular weights. Refer to each endpoint for further explanation.
