- Executive summary:
In an auto-ignition test performed in accordance with GLP and EU Method A.15, a known volume of terpinolene multiconstituent (100 µL) was injected into a heated open 250 mL Erlenmeyer flask containing air and the lowest ignition temperature was recorded using a thermocouple Type K (Nickel/Chrome). In the preliminary test, the auto-ignition temperature (corrected) was determined to be 268°C at 98.0 kPa.
In the main test, the mean auto-ignition temperature (corrected) of terpinolene monoconstituent was determined to be 264 ± 5°C at 98.0-98.1 kPa.
