Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The study was performed according to EU method A.16 with acceptable restrictions (no GLP) and therefore reliability of Klimisch 2 has been assigned. The auto ignition temperature has been determined at 366 °C.
Executive summary:

The test was performed as stipulated in EC Test Procedure A.16 'Relative self-ignition temperature for solids' (no GLP). A certain volume of the substance under test was placed in an oven at room temperature; the temperature/time curve relating to conditions in the centre of the sample was recorded while the temperature of the oven was increased to 440 °C at a rate of 0.5 K/min. For the purpose of this test, the temperature of the oven at which the sample temperature reached 400 °C by self-heating is called the self-ignition temperature.

The sample showed multiple exothermic reactions starting at about 315 °C ( ϑ1max = 340 °C and ϑ2max = 483 °C). The relative spontaneous ignition temperature is 366 °C.
