Description of key information

An ErL50 of > 100 mg/L was determined and a NOEL[r] of 100 mg/L was calculated. The results are expressed in terms of Effective Loadings (EL). No toxic effects against algae were observed at the limit of water solubility under exposure conditions (Neuhahn, 2012).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50 for freshwater algae:
100 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
100 mg/L

Additional information

Key values should read > 100 mg/l

The substance has not a definite or unique structure and consists of serveral components. A Water Accommodated Fraction (WAF) was used to test effects at a limit effective loading of 100 mg/L no specific analysis was performed. The content of the test item during the exposure period was verified by DOC determination.
