Additional information

The test item was evaluated for ready biodegradability in water according to the OECD 301B and the EU-Method C.4-C. The degradation was followed by determining the carbon dioxide produced within a 28-day period.

The test concentration was 20 mg organic carbon per litre (corresponding to 59 mg test item/l). Aniline was used as a positive control. Activated sludge was used as inoculum (concentration in the test 25.0 mg dry matter/l). As with the test item, there are different constituents, the 10-day-window is not taken into account. Degradation of the test item was found to be 7 % in 28 days and all validity criteria were met.
