Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Pre-testings:

Mixtures of the test item with different buffer solutions were prepared. Due to the fact that the test item was insoluble in the buffer solutions the test item was dissolved additionally in acetonitrile as a solubilizer. Therefore 225.13 mg of the test item were dissolved in 50 ml acetonitrile. The test item is completely soluble in acetonitrile (clear and colourless solution). After that mixtures of the test item with different buffer solutions using 1 % of the solubilizer solution (1.0 ml) were prepared. Therefore 1.0 ml of this solution was added into a 100 ml flask and then filled up with each buffer solution (10 min under

ultrasonication). After that the preparations were visually checked at room temperature (23 °C).

Description of key information

Because of the low solubility in the buffer solutions, the determination of the hydrolysis as a function of pH according to OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals 111 is not feasible and sensible as well.
