Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No experimental data is available for the evaluation of the adsorption potential of the substance. The adsorption coefficient of the substance was evaluated by the use of predicted data of the Similar Substances in KOCWIN v.2.00 (EpiSuite) by using two methods- MCI and Kow method.

Calculated values of adsorption coefficient in KOCKWIN v.2.00 of analogue substances:

Koc: 9.402E+006 l/kg; LogKoc: 6.973 (MCI method), Koc: 2.067E+007 l/kg; LogKoc: 7.315 (Kow method) for Similar Substance 01

Koc: 1E+010 l/kg; LogKoc: 10.101 (MCI method), Koc: 3.743E+010 l/kg; LogKoc: 10.573 (Kow method) for Similar Substance 02

Koc: 3.123E+007 l/kg; LogKoc: 7.495 (MCI method) and Koc: 7.201E+007 l/kg; LogKoc: 7.857 (Kow method) for Similar Substance 03

It is noted that the increase of the carbon chain length is correlated with the increase of the adsorption coefficient. Based on the Koc estimated values, the substances are likely to sorb in the sediment and be immobile in soil. However, due to the rapid biodegradation of the substance, adsorption to soil and sediment is not expected.
