Principles of method if other than guideline:
Using a graduated plastic cylinder, the powder was poured into the cylinder to fill up to top of the graduated line. The initial volume and weight of the material measured. The pour density then calculated as weight of sample/volume measured from the graduated cylinder. The powder inside the graduated cylinder is then tap in a consistent force 100X. The volume displacement was then measured. The tap density then calculated as weight of sample/volume measured from the graduated cylinder.

Conclusions:
Under the test conditions, the relative density of the test substance was determined to be 1.68 g/cm3. This result was confirmed in a 2nd independent run with test substance of a different Lot.

A study was conducted to determine the bulk and relative density of the test substance in analogy to Method ASTM B212 -17. Under the test conditions, the bulk density was determined to be 0.33 g/ml and the relative density 1.68 g/cm3 (Wylin, 2017).
