Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The melting point of the substance was determined according OECD Guideline 102. Methods employed were the capillary method, the Kofler Hot Bar and DSC. No thermodynamic melting point could be identified up to beginning degradation at 150 °C (1020 hPa). A drop in viscosity from solid to liquid (begin of fluidity) was observed in the range of 100 °C …150 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
150 °C
