Administrative data

First-aid measures

Skin contact: Remove all contaminated clothes and footwear immediately unless stuck to skin. Wash

immediately with plenty of soap and water. Other appropriate hand cleaner may be required if

material is difficult to remove. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist

Eye contact: Bathe the eye with running water for 15 minutes. Consult a doctor.

Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention if symptoms

persist.

Inhalation: Remove casualty from exposure ensuring one's own safety whilst doing so. If conscious,

ensure the casualty sits or lies down. If breathing becomes bubbly, have the casualty sit and

provide oxygen if available. Consult a doctor

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Water spray. / Alcohol resistant foam. / Dry chemical powder. / Carbon dioxide. Use water spray

to cool containers

Advice for fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective clothing to prevent contact with skin

and eyes.

Accidental release measures

Do not discharge into drains or rivers.

Transfer to a closable, labelled salvage container for disposal by an appropriate method.

Handling and storage

Store in a cool, well ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Engineering measures: Ensure there is sufficient ventilation of the area.

Respiratory protection: Self-contained breathing apparatus must be available in case of emergency. Gas/vapour filter,

type A: organic vapours (EN141). (When handling molten compound).

Hand protection: Rubber gloves. / PVC gloves. / Neoprene gloves. Glove selection must take into account any

solvents and other hazards present.

Eye protection: Safety glasses with side-shields. Ensure eye bath is to hand.

Skin protection: Protective clothing. Boots.

Environmental: Prevent from entering in public sewers or the immediate environment.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: Stable under recommended transport or storage conditions

Disposal considerations

Disposal operations: Transfer to a suitable container and arrange for collection by specialised disposal company.

Disposal of packaging: Dispose of in a regulated landfill site or other method for hazardous or toxic wastes.
