Results
DSC
Two DSC measurements in open glass crucibles showed an endothermal effect after the melting in the range of 255 – 370 °C. The onset temperature was derived from the intersection of the tangent line with the highest slope of the endothermal peak with the baseline. No further endothermic nor exothermic effects were seen up the final temperature of 500 °C.

Description of key information

Boiling range: 255 to 370 °C at 1013 hPa (OECD 103, DSC)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Due to the results of the DSC measurements and the capillary method measurements it was concluded that the test item boiled in a temperature range of 255 to 370 °C. The onset point is 320.1 °C (1st DSC measurement) and 330 °C (2nd DSC measurement).
