Description of key information

The test substance is a white crystalline powder. A boiling point of 180.4°C at 100.7 kPa was determined using the capillary/metal block method according to OECD Guideline 103 and a melting point of 128.5°C at 750.8 mm Hg (100.1 kPa) was determined using the capillary/metal block method according to OECD Guideline 201. Density of 1.4652 at 20°C, was measured using an Quantachrome Ultrapycnometer 1000 helium pycnometer, according to OECD Guideline 109. The vapour pressure, 1.66E-5 Pa at 20°C, was determined using the SRG method, according to OECD Guideline 104. The partition coefficient, Log Pow, -2.71 at 25°C, was determined using the HPLC method according to OECD Guideline 107. Water solubility of > 250 mg/mL at 20°C, was determined with the column elution method, according to OECD Guideline 105. The test substance was not highly flammable in a burning rate test following EU Method A.10. Results of particle size distribution analysis, as determined using dry sieve analysis, determined that 29.8% of particulate matter ≥ 250 µm and 69.2% of particulate matter < 250 µm. Negligible amount of particulate matter was < 20.0 µm.
