Any other information on results incl. tables

Before testing the test item in rabbits, an alternative method, i.e. the Hen's egg test (HET), was used for an evaluation of possible eye irritating properties of the test item. The irritation scores in this test are

0 – 0.9: not irritating

1 – 4.9: slightly irritating

5 – 8.9: moderately irritating

9 – 21: severely irritating.

The test revealed an irritation score of 19.09, i.e. a corrosive or severe irritating potential can be expected. Therefore, no in vivo study with rabbits was performed.
