First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Ensure supply of fresh air. In the event of symptoms take
medical treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of
water
Emergency measure - Skin: In case of contact with skin wash off wiht soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Take medical treatment.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, water spray.

Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, sulphur
dioxide.

Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus as combustion may
produce hazardous fumes.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Take up with absorbent material (eg sand, kieselguhr, uni-
versal binder). Dispose of absorbed material in accordance
with the regulations.

While taking up the spilt material and cleaning the polluted
area avoid skin and eye contact as well as inhalation of the
substance by wearing appropriate personal protective equip-
ment (see section "Handling").

Do not allow to enter drains or waterways. Do not discharge
into the subsoil/soil.

Handling and storage

Handling: Inhalation of the substance as well as skin and eye contact
should be avoided.

Where possible, use closed equipment during filling, metered
feeding, and sampling.

In the case of handling the substance in open systems, ex-
tract any vapours or aerosols which might form, directly at
the point of origin.

The wearing of appropriate respiratory protection is recom-
mended in case technical extraction or ventilation measures
are not possible or are insufficient.

To avoid skin contact, tested protective gloves (e.g. :::)
and, if applicable, suitable protective clothing (e.g. :::)
should be worn.

The wearing of eye protection (e.g. goggles) is recommended.

Storage: Store the substance in the original packing drums or other
secure containers in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Keep them tightly closed and secure them against falling

by taking the appropriate measures.

Avoid residues on the outside of the containers.
