Description of key information

According to the test conditions, AlCl3 is not completely dissociated in water but it is partially embedded into the matrix of the lake complex.

Additional information

The determination of Aluminium migration in water from the substance has been derived using ICP as instrument of detection.

Total Al detected (ICP) = 92.99 mg/L (2.0946 g of the substance as starting material). According to the test conditions, it can be concluded that the migration of Al in water can be considered negligibile since Aluminium is totally embedded into the matrix of the lake complex.

The minimum amount of free Aluminium detected is deriving from AlCl3 present in the sample.

According to the calculation it can be noted that AlCl3 is not completely dissociated in water and that it is also embedded into the matrix of the lake complex, thus it is not bioavailabile in its total amount.
