Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

According to REACH Annex XI a study can be waived when it is not scientifically necessary. For Vertoliff a hydrolysis test is not needed, because it can be reliably predicted that it is hydrolytically stable. It does not contain hydrolysable groups in its chemical structure such as esters, carbamates, epoxides, halomethanes, acylhalides (see Hydrowin, EpiSuite for all hydrolysable groups). The half-life at 20°C is therefore expected to be > 1 year.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
1 yr
at the temperature of:
25 °C
