Preliminary estimation:

Mass of sample (g)  Volume of water in which sample dissolves (mL) Estimated solubility (g/L)  Analysis method
 3.12 1.0  >1000  Shake flask

Estimated water solubility (g/L): > 1000 g/L

Comment

3.12 g of sample was weighed out then 1 ml of water was added. Full dissolution was observed. The test vessel became very hot during shaking. Then 2 ml, 3 ml and 6 ml of water was added incrementally to ensure full dissolution was observed over a range of concentrations. After completion of this test the sample was believed to go into water at all concentrations, therefore no further testing was completed.

Mean water solubility (g/L): ∞ (Estimated)

Conclusions:
The water solubility of the test item was determined to be > 1000 g/L.
Mean water solubility (g/L-1): ∞ (Estimated)
Executive summary:

The water solubility test is conducted in accordance with the procedure described in EU Regulation (EC) 440/2008, Annex Part A test A6.

The water solubility of the test item was determined to be > 1000 g/L.

Mean water solubility (g/L-1): ∞ (Estimated)
