Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The following physico-chemical properties of barium di(acetate) were studied by appropriate testing:

(i) melting, boiling point and thermal stability

(ii) granulometry and

(ii) dustiness testing,

(iii) pH value for barium di(acetate) for a saturated solution as supporting information.

The results of the studies are reported in the endpoint summary as well as in the accompanying IUCLID database.

Several endpoints are covered with handbook data or were waived due to intrinsic properties and long-term experience in handling of barium di(acetate) or based on the criteria as laid down in regulation (EC) 1907/2008.

It is noted that handbook data for physico-chemical properties are considered to be from a trusted source acc. to "ECHA, Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment – Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance" and therefore, these data could be regarded as valid.
