Using KOWWIN v1.68 the log Pow of the test item was calculated to be -5.05 at 25 °C.
Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008
The available experimental test data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. The test substance was found to be readily biodegradable by OECD criteria. The log Pow of the test item was calculated to be -5.05 at 25 °C. The most sensitive test for the aquatic compartment was the toxicity test to algae (Raphidocelis subcapitata). The 72-h ErC10 and the ErC50 (growth rate) of the test substance was determined to be 2.45 and > 3.02 mg/L (geometric mean measured), respectively. The 72-h NOEC-values for both inhibition of growth rate and yield after 72 hours were 1.90 mg/L (geometric mean measured). The 48-h EC50 for Daphnia magna was determined to be > 100 mg/L (nominal). Based on these results, the substance is neither classified for short term (acute) aquatic toxicity, nor for long term (chronic) aquatic toxicity according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) as amended for the tenth time in Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/776.Information on Registered Substances comes from registration dossiers which have been assigned a registration number.
