Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Hydrolysis will not significantly contribute to the removal of the test substance from the environment.
The hydrolysis half-life was calculated as follows (at 25 degree C)
pH 7, half-life = 46.2 days
pH 8, half-life = 4.6 days

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
4.6 d
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Results from the EPI-Suite v4.11 fugacity Level III distribution model (US EPA 2000)show that because of its low water solubility, the test substance is not expected to partition to the water compartment (see Section 4.2.3). However, abiotic degradation of any trace amounts of the test substance which may be present in aquatic environments is unlikely to occur at a significant rate based on modeled data. The HYDROWIN model, a subroutine within the US EPA EPI-Suite v4.11 computer program, estimates a hydrolysis half-life for the test substance 46.2 day at pH 7 (25°C) and 4.6 days at pH 8 (25°C).
