- Buffer solutions of sodium phosphate monobasic, monohydrate was prepared and the pH adjusted to pH 7.5 with sodium hydroxide. The solutions were made with distilled water, tap water and well water.

- There was no significant change in the concentration of 2,4,6-trihydroxy-1,3,5-triazine in both the sample and control solutions over the 30 day period and therefore no photodegradation occurred during the experimental period.
