Conclusions:
The water solubility of the test item was determined to be 579.9 g/L at 20 °C and pH 10.
Executive summary:

The water solubility was determined according to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, method A.6 and OECD Guideline No. 105, adopted on 27th July 1995 using the shake flask method with HPLC analysis. A preliminary test was undertaken to determine the approximate water solubility. Based on the preliminary result, aliquots of the test item, were weighed into six separate flasks. The water solubility was determined at two different temperatures, 10 °C and 20 °C. The contents of the flasks were filtered and the concentrations were determined by HPLC after standing at 20 °C for a period of not less than 24 hours. The water solubility of the test substance was determined to be 516.6 g/L at 10 °C (pH = 9.9) and 579.9 g/L at 20 °C (pH = 10).

Description of key information

The water solubility of the test item was determined to be 579.9 g/L at 20 °C and pH 10 (reference 4.8-1).
