Description of key information

No experimental studies on the toxicokinetics of the substance are available. Therefore, an indirect assessment has been conducted based on the physico-chemical and toxicological properties. While dermal absorption is unlikely, absorption in the gastrointestinal tract and the respiratory system may occur. Gastrointestinal absorption is supported by an oral repeated dose studies that induced toxiclogical effect.

Being a small and water soluble molecule, the substance is likely widely distributed, but not into cells, and it has no potential to bioaccumulate.

The metabolism remains unknown.

Excretion via urine is most likely.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Bioaccumulation potential:
no bioaccumulation potential
