Results and discussion

Toxicokinetic / pharmacokinetic studies

Details on absorption:
The plasma protein binding was determined by ultrafiltration with Zentriflow membranes of Amicon Inc. (Ryan and Hanna 1971; Vohland and Streichert 1978). A correction had to be made for the adsorption of camphor at the membrane. The protein binding was 61±6% at a concentration of 10 μg camphor/ml plasma.
